APALSA DIVERSITY MONTH PROGRAMMING: DOCUMENTARY NIGHT! -- Wednesday, March 12, 2008

Diversity Month Programming: APALSA Documentary Night!
Where: Stuart 409
When: Wednesday 3/12/08, from 5pm - 6:30pm

We will be screening the amazing documentary "Sentenced Home," which follows three Cambodian American men as they confront detention and deportation for minor mistakes they made as teenagers, in a system that offers no second chances. The film sheds light on the devastating impact of harsh immigration laws, and puts a human face on controversial immigration policy. The film is a must-see for those who are interested in immigration policy and its intersection with Asian Pacific Islander communities.

We will be serving CHINESE FOOD!

For more information about the film, go to http://www.pbs.org/independentlens/sentencedhome/film.html.
